ICANN Invites Community Input on Proposed 2029–2033 Public Meeting Schedule

13 October 2025

In a new announcement dated 13 October 2025, ICANN is inviting feedback from its global community on the draft schedule for its triannual Public Meetings spanning 2029 through 2033. The organization is making the proposed dates public in order to gather stakeholder perspectives before finalizing the calendar.

Purpose and Context

ICANN routinely publishes its Public Meeting dates years in advance to give participants ample time for planning. The draft schedule for 2029–2033 is being circulated now so that potential conflicts with international, national, religious, and community-level events can be identified and avoided. In doing so, ICANN hopes the eventual calendar will maximize inclusion and minimize overlapping commitments.

The call for comments opens on the same day as the announcement, with submissions accepted from Monday, 13 October 2025 until the deadline on Monday, 1 December 2025. Community members are encouraged to review the proposed dates and share any concerns or alternative suggestions.

How You Can Participate

Interested parties can access the draft meeting schedule and submit commentary via ICANN’s public comment platform. Feedback will be carefully considered before the final dates are confirmed. The process underscores ICANN’s collaborative approach and its commitment to transparency.

By the way, ICANN’s underlying mission remains centered on coordinating unique global identifiers, maintaining Internet stability and security, and enabling interoperable global networks—making these meetings critical hubs for decision-making and policy dialogue across its community.
