ICANN86 Prep Week Schedule Released Ahead of June 2026 Meeting

27 April 2026

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has published the official schedule for the ICANN86 Prep Week, offering the community an early look at the sessions leading up to the ICANN86 Policy Forum. This preparatory phase is designed to help participants align on key topics, review agendas, and ensure they are ready for productive discussions during the main event.

ICANN86 Prep Week will take place ahead of the Policy Forum scheduled for June 2026. As with previous meetings, these sessions are structured to provide stakeholders with essential briefings, updates, and opportunities to engage with working groups before the formal meeting begins.

Session Structure and Participation

The Prep Week agenda includes a range of sessions tailored to different parts of the ICANN community, including supporting organizations, advisory committees, and cross-community groups. These sessions aim to clarify priorities, highlight ongoing policy work, and prepare attendees for more in-depth discussions during the Policy Forum.

All sessions will be conducted virtually, allowing participants from across the globe to join without travel. ICANN continues to emphasize accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that community members can engage regardless of their location.

Preparing for the ICANN86 Policy Forum

By releasing the schedule in advance, ICANN enables attendees to plan their participation and identify sessions most relevant to their interests. Prep Week plays a critical role in maximizing the effectiveness of the Policy Forum by reducing onboarding time and fostering more informed dialogue during the main meeting.

Participants are encouraged to review the schedule carefully and register for sessions of interest. These early engagements help ensure that discussions during ICANN86 are focused, efficient, and aligned with the community’s expectations.
