ICANN85 Community Forum Schedule Released – What to Expect at the March Event

10 February 2026

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) has released the full agenda for the ICANN85 Community Forum, which will take place from 7–12 March 2026 in Mumbai, India. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person sessions with full remote participation options. With the schedule now published, community members, technical experts, and industry stakeholders can begin planning their involvement across the week.

All sessions are scheduled according to Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC +5:30). Participants who plan to attend in person are required to complete their registration no later than 6 March 2026, as on-site registration will not be available. Remote participants will be able to follow sessions live and engage through ICANN’s established online participation tools.

Preparatory Week and Participation Options

Ahead of the Community Forum, ICANN will host a Prep Week from 23–25 February 2026. This preparatory program is designed to help participants familiarize themselves with key topics, processes, and discussion areas that will be addressed during ICANN85. Prep Week is particularly useful for those new to the ICANN ecosystem, while also offering value to experienced community members who want a structured overview before the main event.

The hybrid format of ICANN85 continues ICANN’s approach to inclusive participation. Remote attendees will be able to observe sessions in real time, take part in discussions, and collaborate with other participants globally. This structure ensures that meaningful engagement remains accessible regardless of location or travel constraints.

What the Schedule Means for Community Engagement

With the agenda now available, participants can review the full range of sessions, meetings, and collaborative discussions planned throughout the six-day Forum. The schedule is designed to support both substantive policy and technical work, as well as opportunities for cross-community interaction and networking.

The publication of the ICANN85 schedule is a key milestone in preparing for the meeting. It allows participants to align their priorities, plan their time effectively, and identify sessions most relevant to their work. Whether attending in person in Mumbai or participating remotely, community members now have a clear framework to engage fully in one of ICANN’s major global gatherings of 2026.
