The Second IANA Naming Function Review Team has just published its initial report and is actively seeking your feedback! As part of its periodic evaluation, this specialized team has thoroughly examined how effectively the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) performs its critical functions related to internet domain names.
Goals and Findings
This review aims to ensure that IANA continues to meet the technical and operational standards required to keep the global internet stable and secure. The initial report highlights findings and recommendations based on the team’s assessment of current processes, effectiveness, transparency, and accountability.

Now it's your turn to weigh in! The Review Team encourages the global community—including technical experts, businesses, and all interested stakeholders—to provide their valuable insights, suggestions, and feedback. Your contributions will directly help identify areas for potential improvement within IANA's operations.
Feedback submissions will remain open until 29 April 2025. After this date, the Review Team will carefully review all input received and incorporate it into their final report and recommendations.
